DNA REPLICATION AND RNA AND PROTEIN SYNTHESIS

DNA is the molecule that contains all of a cell's genetic information.  The DNA code directs the synthesis of a cell's proteins. In other words genes are made of DNA.  Not only must DNA direct the synthesis of proteins it must be duplicated or replicated each time a cell reproduces itself.
